About Me

Hello, I am Jacob Shupe and this is my story!

My SCUBA diving career started in 2007 when he was just 11 years old before a trip to Puerto Vallarta. I quickly fell in love with it and decided to commit to furthering his education. In 2013, I obtained my Advanced Open Water certification and Rescue Diver certification in 2014.  My professional career in SCUBA diving started in 2017 after completing my Divemaster course I began helping my hometown SCUBA shop teach classes.  After graduating from Purdue in 2018 and starting my new career as a Deputy with the Tippecanoe County Sheriff’s Department, I was able to join the Department’s Water Rescue Team. Through my work with the TCWRT, I have completed my Emergency Response Diving certification and put in countless hours of emergency rescues and trainings. In the fall of 2021, I completed my Open Water Scuba Diver Instructor certification and began teaching classes to certify potential members of the WRT.  Teaching these classes solidified in my mind that this is something that I wanted to pursue long term and so Tippecanoe County Diver’s Supply was born. 

I have been able share their love of diving with dives at France Park, Natural Springs Ohio, and Hawaii. I are looking forward to sharing the joys and excitement by of SCUBA diving with you!
