We are Jacob and Liz Shupe. We live in West Lafayette, IN (Boiler Up and Hammer Down!) with our dog Domino and turtle Leonard.
Jacob’s SCUBA diving career started in 2007 when he was just 11 years old before a trip to Puerto Vallarta. He quickly fell in love with it and decided to commit to furthering his education. In 2013, he obtained his Advanced Open Water certification and his Rescue Diver certification in 2014. His professional career in SCUBA diving started in 2017 after completing his Divemaster course and began helping his hometown SCUBA shop teach classes. It was at this time he shared his love of SCUBA with Liz by helping her complete her Open Water certification. After graduating from Purdue in 2018 and starting his new career as a deputy with the Tippecanoe County Sheriff’s Department, Jacob was able to join the Department’s Water Rescue Team. Through his work with the TCWRT, Jacob has completed his Emergency Response Diving certification and put in countless hours of emergency rescues and trainings. In the fall of 2021, Jacob completed his Open Water Scuba Diver Instructor certification and began teaching classes to certify potential members of the WRT. Teaching these classes solidified in Jacob’s mind that this is something that he wanted to pursue long term and so Tippecanoe County Diver’s Supply was born.
Jacob and Liz have been able share their love of diving with dives at France Park, Natural Springs Ohio, and Hawaii. We are looking forward to sharing the joys and excitement by of SCUBA diving with you!
